Project Overview

Vs. JTC is a full-week Friday Night Funkin’ mod that pits Boyfriend against Joul The Cool (JTC) in a back-alley showdown, delivering original songs, new mechanics, and custom visuals on top of a modified FNF legacy codebase. The project emphasizes stable, reproducible builds and engine-level flexibility for rapid iteration.

The first release trailer reached 720k views, and the mod hit 14k downloads on GameBanana. Due to this success, we are developing the 2.0 release.

Role

Lead Programmer for The JTC Modding Team (Sep 2021 – Dec 2022). I reduced RAM usage from 3 GiB to 600 MB and built an engine-level modding framework with in-game tools and LuaJIT scripting.
